KS Timber supply bearers and wedges to the shipping industry. We are the main provider to the Ports of Tilbury and Sheerness.
Bearers are use to lift packs for easy forklifting, loading and unloading of transit vehicles.
Wedges are used to block up and chock wheels and pallets in transit in timber yards, and on docks, and in ocean going ships.
Bearers
Size 47 x 70 x 1200mm – these can be cut to any length you require.
These are used under packs of timber and plywood which are to be stacked.
Size 70 x 90 x 1200mm – these can be cut to any length you require.
For use under steel heavy machinery.
Wedges
90 x 90mm – these are used to keep trailers secure.
70 x 70mm or 125 x 125mm – these are used for paper reels.
